- Get in touch with our editorial team (see below for contact details) before completing your purchase so we can check availability. We can also check your artwork if you have it available.
- Return to this page, select the required size
- Select the edition in which you want your ad to appear (if you are booking space in multiple editions, this will be the first journal in which it should run)
- In the quantity field, select the number of editions in which your ad should run. If you select 4 we’ll automatically apply a 15% discount.

- Send us your signed off artwork ready for placement.

The Author (subscription)
£70.00 – £80.00Stimulating, informative and authoritative, The Author features articles on all aspects of writing, illustration and literary translation by contributors from across the industry.
The journal has a circulation of over 12,500 and is sent quarterly to authors, publishers and agents.
Your subscription will run for 1 year (4 issues). We publish in March, June, September and December.

Group legal protection insurance
£37.00Protecting you against the professional costs of dealing with a tax inspection by HMRC. Only available to SoA members.
The group policy runs for the year from 1 May to 30 April. Premiums can be accepted after the start date but will only cover the remainder of the term and will be subject to an additional administration fee of £25 for mid-term adjustments, taking the cost to £37.
Please note that this insurance is not available if you are trading as a limited company.
