Learn how to chair literary events with three highly experienced speakers working in different genres and age groups

When you become a professional writer, all sorts of work opens up to you; mentoring, running workshops, chairing events. But how do you actually do these jobs well, and how can you ask other writers about it?

This event hosted by author T.L Huchu, journalist and author, Chitra Ramaswamy and Senior Lecturer of Children’s and YA Literature studies, Dr Melanie Ramdarshan Bold is intended to teach writers how to do the work of chairing literary events. Attendees will learn from three highly experienced speakers, all working in different genres and age groups, with time at the end to ask specific questions that may have come up throughout the workshops.

Full of practical, accessible information presented in a warm and collegiate environment, this two-hour workshop will help you to build breadth into your career and give you confidence in chairing events as your career progresses.
