Join the Writers of Essex on Saturday 6 June from 12pm for their next meeting at Berryfields Cafe, FirstSite Art Centre, Lewis Gardens, High Street, Colchester CO1 1JH. This will be our first in-person meetup of the year so it will be great to see as many of you as possible.
This location is easily reached by local parking and public transport links and the venue is disability accessible. The cafe serves hot and cold drinks as well as sweet/savoury food and is reasonably priced. It is a bright and open space so is great to get discussions going on all kinds of writing-related topics.
Suggested themes for discussion:
- What inclusion means to you
- Highs and lows of the year so far
- Morally ambiguous character in our fiction
