Monmouth Group meet-up

Join the Monmouth group on Friday 5 June from 11am for a catch-up and a discussion of using other works for inspiration.

We will first be meeting from 11am for a coffee and catch up at Creates Bistro, 7 Church Street, Monmouth NP25 3BX before having the 12pm meeting at Monmouth Library and Community Hub, Whitecross Street, NP25 3BY. (This meeting is not taking place at our usual venue as Bridges Community Centre is still recovering from the November floods and is likely to be closed for several months.)

Here is the agenda for the meeting:

• Feedback from SoA Cymru Committee – Cath to report
• Any current publishing issues of concern to members
• Discussion on using ‘stolen lines’ (ie a line, phrase or sentence from a published book) to inspire our writing – write a short piece to bring if you wish
• Possible summer picnic instead of August meeting
• Any other business

Bring your own lunch. There are tea and coffee making facilities at the Library.
