How to run writing workshops

This two-hour workshop will give you confidence in running your own writing workshops

When you become a professional writer, all sorts of work opens up to you; mentoring, running workshops, chairing events. But how do you actually do these jobs well, and how can you ask other writers about it?

This event hosted by authors, Kirsty Logan, Majorie Lotfi and Nadine Aisha Jassat is intended to teach writers how to do the work of running writing workshops. Attendees will learn from three highly experienced speakers, all working in different genres and age groups, with time at the end to ask specific questions that may have come up throughout the workshops.

Full of practical, accessible information presented in a warm and collegiate environment, this two-hour workshop will help you to build breadth into your career and give you confidence in running workshops as your career progresses.

This event was in conjunction with our nation group, the Society of Authors in Scotland.
