SoA Community Hub | National Writing Day – Crime writers special Write with us with Nadine Matheson

26 June @ 10:00 - 16:00 BST

£5.00 – £9.50

Join us for our first Community Hub event in the SoA Space as we celebrate National Writing Day with a special focus on crime writers.

Everyone is invited to grab pens, pencils or laptops and celebrate the power and pleasure of creative writing on National Writing Day, which is taking place on Wednesday 24 June 2026. National Writing Day is coordinated by the literacy charity First Story and champions the idea that everyone has a story to tell.

Members are invited to our London office on Bedford Row for a day of writing, networking and hearing author tips and advice from bestselling crime writer and SoA Board member, Nadine Matheson. Nadine will be joined by SoA Chief Executive, Anna Ganley, who will be co-hosting the day.

Your ticket includes unlimited tea, coffee, biscuits and WiFi. You may bring your own lunch or book a lunch option, and SoA will provide that for you for an extra fee.

This is a drop-in event, so you don’t need to stay for the full day but you are very welcome to join us for the full day from 10am to 4pm.
