Monmouth Group: Adapting for Stage and Screen

Join the Monmouth group on Friday 2 October from 11am for a catch-up and discussion on adapting stage and screen.

How would your novel or story adapt to work on stage or as a film-script? What would go, what would be better, what would be lost? Some (most?) writers visualise action as they write as a rolling sequence in their mind’s eye – could that mean the writing really wants to be film? Please register and come along. We’d really like to see you.

We will first be meeting from 11am for a coffee and catch up at Creates Bistro, 7 Church Street, Monmouth NP25 3BX before having the 12pm meeting at Monmouth Library and Community Hub, Whitecross Street, NP25 3BY. 

Bring your own lunch. There are tea and coffee making facilities at the Library.

If you haven’t been before, both venues are close together in the centre of Monmouth not far from the Glendower St carpark. Come and join us for a chat.
