Manchester Group: Submissions and Proposals
7 March @ 10:00 - 12:00 GMT
Free
Join the Manchester Group on Friday 7 March from 10am for their next meet-up to discuss submissions to agents and publishers.
So you’ve written a page-turning novel—or more than one.  Or you have an intriguing idea for a non-fiction book title. But do you know how to get a literary agent or publisher to look at your work?  Agented and multi-published crime novelist E.M. Powell will take you through the process of submitting your novel to an agent. We’ll look at where to find reputable agents/publishers and the elements of a strong query letter and synopsis. Peter Williams is the author of fifteen published titles in the education sector and will explain how to write a non-fiction book proposal.
We’ll meet at Social Refuge, 27 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester, M4 5AJ.
All members welcome! The Social Refuge kindly lets us meet in the bookshop for free, so if you’re able to please consider supporting them by purchasing a book on the day.
Local group meet-ups are free to attend. To join us, click the Going button below and enter your details in the RSVP form so we have an idea of how many people are planning to attend. Please contact us with any questions.
