North West London Group: Publicity and Promotion

Join the North West London Group for its next meet-up on Thursday 9 April from 7pm at Kensal Rise Library, Bathurst Gardens, London NW10 5EU.

At this meeting, we are going to focus on Author Publicity and Promotion. Three members will share their experience of using social media — Jasmine Belfield (Tik Tok), Caroline Westbrook (Instagram) and Peter Stafford-Bow (Substack). Bring one of your books and share with us your experience or desire to use a website, blogs, podcasts, speaking at schools, libraries, bookstores and literary festivals, etc. to promote yourself and your work. Also bring a smart device in case the Library does not have a computer set-up.

Bring your own drinks and snacks — wine glasses, cups, mugs, and hot water will be available (bring your tea/coffee bags, alcoholic drinks also allowed). The toilet is wheelchair accessible, and there is free wi-fi.

If you know of local writers who may be interested in the group, do invite them along. They can attend up to two meetings before being asked to join the SoA to continue attending.

Kensal Rise Library is within walking distance of Kensal Rise Station (Mildmay Line) and Kensal Green Station (Bakerloo + Lioness Line) and bus routes 6, 18, 28, 52, and 187. There is free residential street parking in the area but spaces are limited.
