Congratulations to Wayland Senior Editor Nicola Edwards, who has been nominated by author Annemarie Young for the Editorial Best Practice Award following their work together on What is Right and Wrong? Who decides? Where do Values come from? And other Big Questions (co-authored with Michael Rosen and published in March 2018).

Annemarie commended Nicola for her clear and timely communications, her flexibility and her editorial comments on the typescript, which she praised as being ‘always clear, professional, incisive, helpful – and never gratuitous.’

On receiving the nomination, Nicola said:

I’m really delighted to have been nominated for this award, particularly as it recognises the importance of collaboration between authors and editors. Working closely with authors is one of the most enjoyable and satisfying aspects of my job as an editor.

Nominations are welcome for the Editorial Best Practice Award from Educational Writers Group (EWG) members only. Find out more about how to nominate.
