Sophie is a Bristol-based poet, artist, copywriter and ex-Canoe Coach. Her work has been published in The Rialto, Magma, The Moth, Banshee, Under the Radar, Propel, Neon, Ink Sweat and Tears, The Interpreter’s House, and Anthropocene and has been broadcasted on BBC Radio Bristol.

Sophie has been shortlisted twice for the Bridport Prize and has won Bristol’s Hammer & Tongue Poetry Slam. Her poetry won the Brian Dempsey Memorial Prize 2021 and came 3rd in Magma’s Poetry Competition 2022.

Sophie has an MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa, she’s written three immersive theatre productions for Riptide and was awarded a place on the Genesis Jewish Book Week Emerging Writers’ Programme. sophiedumont.co.uk
