Storytelling has always been at the heart of everything Marlene does. Whether through her work as an author, her business in marketing and storytelling, or her roles within organisations that bring people together, she has always been drawn to the way stories shape our world and our connections within it.

With a passion for storytelling and a deep commitment to fostering creative communities, Marlene has built a career at the intersection of business, writing, and advocacy. As the Chair of the Fife & Tayside branch of the Institute of Directors, she has spent the past 2.5 years supporting business leaders and connecting industries in meaningful ways. Additionally, she serves as a Trustee for the Pain Association Scotland and Springer Rescue Scotland, roles that have allowed her to work closely with diverse communities, shaping strategic growth and engagement.
