I’m a writer specialising in Children’s Literature, from poetry, picture books, middle grade to young adult fiction. I was shortlisted for the Kavya Arts Prize in 2023 for my picture book, The Bear With No Name, and was a writer-in-residence at St. Albert’s Primary School. 

I contributed to their ‘We Can Be Heroes’ Project to promote diversity and inclusion within children’s writing and publishing, which won the SAMEE Aspiring Writers Award and The Scottish Education Curriculum Innovation Award 2022.

I have degrees in both Literature and Teaching and have worked in youth work and academia for over a decade. I am highly experienced in both developing and delivering a range of engaging, creative and stimulating programmes, workshops, and sessions and am confident delivering them to whole host of different audiences.
