On retiring after 30 years as a Technical Author in the electronics industry, my first novel ‘Bed & Breakfast in Charlford’ was written simply as a hobby, inspired by my son’s teen-age experiences. He then encouraged me to self-publish it. With loose emds available I followed it with ‘Comings & Goings in Charlford’. The saga will end with ‘All’s Well . . . in Charlford’.

The moral standards in the books reflect those of my war-time childhood and the tales manage without featuring modern technology.

I simply hope that people enjoy reading them as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them – I shall miss my fictional friends when it is over.
