Tessa Barrie

Yorkshire-born, one-quarter Greek writer based in Jersey
Biographer, Non-fiction writer, Novelist

My early life was more Little House on the Prairie than The Waltons because it was fraught with drama, but intermingled with the emotional disruption, I remember humour squeezing its way through the frayed feelings, so incorporating humour in my writing is very important.

Starting to write novels later in life has made me more driven because, for the first time, I am finally doing what I love.
