Tem Rae Wilder is a queer and disabled writer, storyteller, game designer, play artist, and social justice activist, as well as a support worker specialising in neurodivergence and invisible disability. They are the founder and Creative Director of the Pluto Q Community Reading Room – a radically inclusive arts venue and Scotland’s only dedicated open-access Board & Tabletop RPG library.

Tem lives in Glasgow, Scotland, and loves to celebrate diverse Scottish lives and experiences in their stories. Their gentle picture book story The Grey, Grey, Day was awarded the Kelpies Prize for Writing 2025. Tem is just wrapping up a 9 month mentorship with Floris Books, during which time they have written eight picture books and begun work on a number of longer-form projects for the Middle Grade and YA markets. They are currently seeking representation.
