Retired GP & specialist in dementia and frailty. Wrote regularly for the medical press as motoring correspondent and scientifically. 

Always enjoyed writing, mainly short stories and poems/haikus. 

Finished writing my first novel – ‘The Two Families Of Jack Singh’ – late in 2025, sent the draft to a small independent publisher in May 2026 and was delighted to be offered a publishing contract straight away. The book was released in June 2026 and is selling steadily so far, with very favourable reviews.

Currently working on other projects (possibly a children’s book, a sequel to my novel and also a screenplay of the novel).
