Sudhana Singh grew up in apartheid South Africa and is the great-granddaughter of indentured labourers. Her obsession with books and current affairs led her to major in English Literature and qualify as an NCTJ-accredited journalist. Her memoir, Kindness, Kale & Kettlebells is a Nautilus Book Award winner. Sudhana is working on her debut novel which is a winner in The Book Edit Writers’ Prize 2025.
A former lecturer and headteacher, she lives with her family and three groaning bookshelves in suburban London.
