High-quality human translations into English since 2003. Much of my recent work has focused on contemporary theater and nonfiction.
As a full-time translator, I work with literary, medical, business, immigration, historical, and environmental texts.
The literary translations range from contemporary books and plays to nineteenth-century fiction, and sometimes even medieval and early-modern poems, theater, and essays. See the portfolio on my website: https://linguacaps.com/.
A proud graduate of the Rutgers University Translation Program.
Author of the book “Alternate Channels,” about gay and lesbian images on twentieth-century American television and the few pioneering depictions of bisexual and trans people in that era. I sometimes lecture on the evolution of LGBTQ+ media portrayals, and have served on the research teams of related documentaries. I was the lead historical consultant for the 2020 Apple TV+ docuseries “Visible: Out on Television.”
