Stephanie was born in Widnes, but lived in a variety of places including Cumbria, Kenya, Guatemala and Yorkshire before settling in Norfolk. She has had several careers, such as:- teacher, water engineer, and health and safety adviser. She now spends her time on her hobbies like horse riding, and is a local magistrate as well as a writer. The first book in her series set on Hadrian’s wall in the late second century AD  ‘The Edge of Empire’ was published by Northodox in May 2024. The sequel ‘The Mithraeum Connection’ is due out on May 15th 2025
