Sharon Finch is a librarian, writer, artist, and occasional radio presenter. After 20 years of working for the Civil Service she decided to go underground and immerse herself into a world of insects and espionage. In 2024, she published her first book The Wig Files. Whilst this is a children’s book, she hopes that it will have wider appeal for adult audiences.

She lives in Surrey with her family and ferocious cat, Kiki. She enjoys cooking, art and the delights of Gothenburg, Venice, and any archipelago. In her spare time, she produces botanical art using vintage photographic processes.
