I’m on the debut journey, seeking representation, aiming to prove that tenacity and imagination are a productive combination.
In the early 2000s I began work as a freelance book reviewer and blurb-writer for a London bookseller who advertises stock in a printed newspaper-style catalogue. I also handled boxes and boxes of children’s new titles from UK publishers which I featured on my own website, detailing and reviewing those books, alongside author information, and reading support, for children and their adults. No longer in existence due to the seismic changes in the Worldwide Web, I’m still proud of Children’s Books UK Info as was.
I’m happy to have joined SoA as I want to meet and support all authors, especially anyone else for whom a disability or chronic illness can be a barrier to normal interaction with publishing and readers.
I blog at Later Writer where I explore my belief “it’s not too late to write”, and I’m aware that spending time offline is also precious.
Books make me happy 📚🙂
