Rosalind is the author of over 70 books published in 22 countries.
She has been working with world myths, legends and folktales for several decades, and most of her books are in that genre. Her story collections for adults, meticulously researched from the oldest archives, have been highly praised by reviewers in The Times Literary Supplement, The Independent, Folklore (official journal of The Folklore Society), and Grammarye, as well as on Goodreads and Amazon. She has also written numerous collections for children.
As an independent researcher into narrative folklore, she has presented a number of papers and online talks for the Folklore Society, the Scottish Storytelling Centre, the Richard Hall Vikings Symposium in York, and university folklore departments.
She has also published a historical novel set in the Viking Age, reflecting her expert knowledge of the myths and culture of this period.
