With a specialization in music and an academic background as a linguist, I have been providing English translations for 20 years (from German, French, Italian and Russian) for a variety of classical labels: programme notes, artist notes, & opera, aria, song and other poetic texts for CD booklets as well as subtitles for opera DVDs.

I started my career as a multilingual translator at an international organization in Prague, and today I work also as a freelance copyeditor of books on music, art, history and archaeology for clients including The British Museum and Yale University Press, London.
