Currently carrying out doctoral research into the French Resistance with Cardiff University.
I have spoken at various locations around the United Kingdom, including the Gloucester History Festival, and in France at the Centre de la mémoire, Oradour-sur-Glane.
I am a former secondary school teacher and have worked with schools in conjunction with History departments and Modern Languages Departments. I co-authored many educational materials including the current A level French course books for Oxford University Press.
I give talks to groups of all sizes, including Rotary, Women’s Institute and Probus clubs.
I have taught at all levels including undergraduate and A level.
