My debut novel A Queer Case comes out on 3rd June – it introduces one Selby Bigge, living in 1920s London, he’s a bank clerk by day and a member of the city’s queer underworld any chance he gets. However, it’s not long before he encounters a murder and decides to solve it…

My play Dumbledore Is So Gay has played at the Southwark Playhouse, Pleasance and VAULT Festival, where it won an Origins Award and an Offies commendation.

Other plays include The Quest (Arcola), The Cluedo Club Killings (Arcola, King’s Head) and The Wellington Book Club (Burton Taylor Studio). Short plays include Guy Lines (Aldridge Studio @ Lowry) and Having A Ball (North Wall).

I run workshops in creative writing and storytelling skills. Clients include VAULT Festival, Wellcome Trust and Oxford Uni. I also offer one-to-one coaching. Find out more here: www.robertholtom.co.uk.
