Raine Geoghegan, BA Hons, MA, Dip RWTA,Poet, Playwright, Workshop Facilitator & Romani Cultural Consultant of Welsh & Romany ethnicity. Raine performs her poetry, monologues and songs in the UK and Ireland. Her work has been published internationally both online and in print. She has a full collection, ‘The Talking Stick: O Pookering Kosh’ with Salmon Poetry Press & three pamphlets with Hedgehog Press. She has been nominated for the Forward Prize, Pushcart Prize (twice) and the Best of the Net. She has awards with Winchester Poetry Festival, Writing in a Woman’s Voice and Sparrow Press. She is the Romani Script Consultant  for the musical For Tonight. Her play ‘The Tree Woman’ was performed online for the worldwide Earthquake Festival in 2020 with the San Francisco Theatre Collective and the London Fringe. She is currently editing an anthology for Salmon Poetry Press.
