R.K.J. Adams lives in the Scottish Highlands, sharing her home with her long-suffering husband, Mr Adams, and their lively menagerie of rescue dogs, each as quirky as their humans.

In October 2021, a chance encounter with a podcast reignited her childhood desire to write. Her first book, Wasn’t Me, Miss! was published in July 2022. Since then, her author career has flourished, and she has published two anthologies of poetry for adults, four children’s picture books, as well as her first murder mystery, She Who Was.

In addition to writing, R.K.J. Adams is an avid amateur photographer, and loves capturing the Aurora Borealis.
