Philip is an author and playwright whose short plays, musicals, and examination pieces are performed around the world. His comedy thrillers are published by Scripts For Stage and his monologues and duologues suitable for Trinity College Acting examinations up to grade 3 are published by Revolution Arts Limited. His Drama course books were published by First and Best in Education between 1998 and 2016.
Philip wrote the words for the children’s mini musicals, The Story of the Great White Horse and The Moonrakers (Music by composer Nicholas Keyworth and produced/staged in Bangkok by Revolution Arts Limited at The Spotlight Festivals in 2024 & 2025 – supported by Eduprogress and Trinity College, London).
Two of his scripts were published in The LAMDA Acting Anthology Volume 3 (2014) and his two instructional articles on theatre lighting appeared in The Berkshire Drama and Dance Journal (1993).
Philip has most recently worked with film and television composer James Harpham on a musical comedy, The Sound of Murder.
