Having had a series of environmental and conservation non-fiction books published by Spon and Chapman Hall, I have had short fiction published in a number of literary journals. This includes Stand, Iron, Route, Chapman, Staple and North. I won the Biscuit International Competition twice, and had a collection of fiction published by them. I have now turned to writing longer works of fiction. I am publishing my debut novel through Silver Quill, an international writers co-operative. I am still on the look-out for an agent and/or publication deal for my novels, but I am growing to enjoy the freedom of being in control of the production of my work. But then, I tell myself it is early-days yet!

I am a member of the Scottish Borders and the North East England regional groups of SoA and have recently joined the Sustainability Group.
