My novel THE CASE OF THE MAD DOCTOR will be published by Canelo in July 2025. Previously known as THE ADVENTURES OF ISAIAH OLLENU, it is a historical adventure set in 18th century England/Jamaica, based on the true story of Jamaica’s first serial killer. The story placed 2nd in the I Am In Print Novel Award 2023, sponsored by Canelo.

I am author of the MURDER trilogy set in Jamaica and published by Joffe Books  in 2022 – MURDER IN MONTEGO BAY, MURDER UNDER THE PALMS, MURDER AT SUGAR RUSH BEACH – all of which feature the Pelican Walk detectives Preddy, Rabino and Spence (Jamaicans) and Harris (Scottish).

My MURDER books have featured in the Jamaica Library Service National Reading Competition in the adult category.

My sole thriller WATCH HER RUN was published in 2023, by Wildfire.

A short story SORRY, DELIVERY won the Comedy Women In Print prize 2022/23, and will be published by Farrago Books in anthology THE BOOK OF WITTY WOMEN (April 2024). I’ve just finished writing a witty murder mystery novel, tentatively called A GOOD WAY TO KILL A WEDDING which stars the protagonist of SORRY, DELIVERY, Kayla Reilly a narcoleptic, biscuit-loving, delivery driver.

TWO SHARP KNIVES, another a short story, featured in the Midsummer Mysteries anthology by Flame Tree Press (29 August 2024), edited by Martin Edwards in association with the CWA.

My unpublished novel NOT THE JAMAICA WE KNOW – a time-travel, young adult adventure set in Jamaica – was a finalist in the ScreenCraft Cinematic Book Competition. I’m considering self-publishing this tale.
