Poet, Science fiction / fantasy writer, Short fiction writer

I am a writer from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire with a BA and MA in Creative Writing at Sheffield Hallam University.

I turn my hand to most genres and forms, though I mostly tend to write speculative fiction, usually originating as thought experiment and wordplay.

I have been published in a few collections including Liberty Tales: Stories and Poems Inspired by the Magna Carta (Arachne Press, 2016), The Dinesh Allirajah Prize for Short Fiction 2020: AI Stories (Comma Press, 2020), Flashy Gifts (Oxford Spires Publishing, 2023) and most recently Sanctuary (Astrea Publishing, 2024).

As of writing this profile, I am querying agents for my Western novella trilogy, Down in Ambler’s Landing (working title), and writing a vampire thriller titled Overfamiliar.
