O. S. King was shortlisted for the Emerging Writers’ Award at the Brighton Book Festival in 2025.

Their writing has appeared in Covert Literary Magazine, The Cosy Desi Club, and several anthologies. They are the author of two murder mysteries and five short-story collections.

They are also an experienced academic editor, legal writer, and writer of education and training policy and strategy materials for organisations.
