O. S. King was shortlisted for the Emerging Writers’ Award at the Brighton Book Festival in 2025.

Their writing has appeared in Covert Literary Magazine and several anthologies. They are the author of two murder mysteries and four short-story collections.

They are also an experienced academic editor, legal writer and writer of education and training policy and strategy materials for the workplace.
