I retired after a long career in medicine. I live in Stirling, Scotland, and write novels and short stories. I draw on my life experience for inspiration.

My first crime novel Miles Away was published by Bear Press in July 2022. Miles Away was featured at the 2022 Bloody Scotland International Crime Writers Festival, where I was chosen as a ‘Spotlighter.’

A sequel to Miles Away is in process, its manuscript almost complete.

Another novel is complete and ready for publication.

Currently without a publishing contract, I am exploring publishing both of the above manuscripts independently. With that in mind, I recently self-published a collection of short stories – Up the Dollar Road and other Short Fiction.
