As an academic author my work has mainly focused on Judaism and early Christianity. I have a special interest in Greek-speaking Judaism (all periods). My articles can be accessed on academia.edu. I am currently editing a corpus of medieval Hebrew inscriptions from the territories of the Byzantine empire.

As a literary translator I have translated most of the novels of Amos Oz, and writings by S. Yizhar, A.B. Yehoshua and Aharon Appelfeld. I am currently translating Yizhar’s Days of Ziklag (Yemei Tsiklag), a massive late modernist masterpiece which is acknowledged to be one of the key works of twentieth-century Hebrew literature.
