I’m a strategy consultant by profession, with published books on strategy and science & religion, a number of academic papers, and a co-authored poetic playlet. My main writing work at present is a series of historical detective stories set in 1289-1290s featuring brilliant young Alice, daughter of a London Wollman, and her uncle Friar Anselm who has come down from the new University in Cambridge to teach her.

I’ve also translated the Psalms from Hebrew into English Verse, and a number of Middle English poems that Alice ‘could’ have written.

In addition, I chair the 695th Lord Mayor’s Ethical AI Initiative.
