I’m a published translator from French and Italian, specialising in academic, literary, and cultural texts. I also have a small number of online publications relating to my doctoral research at the University of Glasgow, which concerns long-neglected, recently rediscovered but as yet untranslated French author and visual artist Léopold Chauveau (1870-1940). I frequently incorporate translation practice into my research and would welcome enquiries about adapting this work for publication.

I have an MA with Merit in Literary Translation from UEA, where my dissertation concerned my first published book, Echoes of a Lost Voice: Encounters with Primo Levi. I have since co-translated Champagne Billecart-Salmon: Two Centuries of Adventure, and worked on a range of shorter texts including opera lyrics for the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
