I have been a freelance French-English and Italian-English literary and commercial translator for the past twenty years, translating works of contemporary fiction, romance, crime fiction, memoir, corporate history and academic monographs.

I would love to see contemporary French and Italian fiction being read more widely in English and I enjoy supporting and championing writers who are still under the radar in the UK and US.

My other services include sample translations for French and Italian publishers, reader reports for UK and US publishers, proofreading and copy-editing. Having studied for a PGCE, I also work as a private French and Italian tutor for children and adults.

In addition to being a member of the SoA Translators Association, I am a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI).
