Mike is a writer and illustrator specialising in Heraldry, Badges, Flags and civic and royal ceremonial.  He is Chairman of the White Lion Society (Friends of HM College of Arms) and edits their Newsletter.  He is a public speaker and gives  illustrated talks on a variety of subjects from Heraldry to Airships and Police History.  He is a consultant to ‘Consulting Cops’ specialising in police history and police aviation.  His next project is a book on ‘The Royal Beasts’ which will (hopefully) be published in 2026 and as police advisor on a new film on the Brighton Trunk Murders in 1934 and slated for production in 2025.
