Michelle Robinson is the bestselling author of over 60 children’s books including ‘The World Made a Rainbow’, ‘She Rex’, ‘There’s a Lion in my Cornflakes’, ‘A Beginner’s Guide to Bear Spotting’, ‘Ten Fat Sausages’, the ‘Goodnight Tractor’ series and many more.

Her books are published all over the world and feature in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and BookTrust’s Book Start scheme. Michelle recently had the honour of being BookTrust’s Writer In Residence, using her residency to focus on ‘Making Reading Fun’. One of her books has even been read to Earth from the International Space Station.

In 2021, Michelle and her family moved to Nova Scotia, Canada. She remains a hugely popular author in the UK and beyond, having spent well over a decade regularly performing in schools, libraries and at literary festivals, both virtually and in-person. Michelle is passionate about nurturing a love of literacy through encouraging reading and writing for pleasure.
