With 19 years of experience as a translator for German and English, I am well placed to translate your documents in the fields of marketing, sports and travel and to recreate English websites, brochures and articles for a German speaking audience.

Volunteering for Translators without Borders and translating articles forgospeltranslations.org has additionally sharpened my skills and given me insights into the NGO sector, which I am happy to apply to future engagements.

My translation of Jessica Norrie’s “Der Infinity Pool”, a thoughtful (eco) holiday novel with a touch of crime and some romance, was published in 2018.

Translated versions of Paul Maar’s middle grade fantasy “Eine Woche voller Samstage” and of the illustrated marvel “Once Upon An Ordinary School Day” by Colin McNaughton and Satoshi Kitamura are waiting for a publisher.

Travelogues about 40 walks completed in a year and about my pilgrimage from Chester to Canterbury are in the pipeline.
