Meghan Flaherty is the author of Tango Lessons (Mariner, 2018).

Her essay “Ode to Gray” was included among the notable mentions in 2019’s Best American Essays. She has an M.F.A. from Columbia University in literary nonfiction, and teaches creative writing at University of Glasgow, and privately. In 2022, she was awarded an Ignite Fellowship by the Scottish Book Trust for 2022.
