I am a multi-disciplinary author and illustrator. As a research scientist by training, I am interested in the intersections between the reflective and analytical. My academic work sits somewhere between theoretical physics, software development and epistemology (in plain language: what counts as knowledge in a universe as complex as the one we live in, and how can we trust what we think we know?). My creative writing and illustration tends to focus on more abstract versions of the same themes. I’ve been accused of writing hard science fiction, but I try to do so in a way that will go unnoticed.
