Mary Green writes poems, stories and plays for children and educational books. Her first love is children’s poetry, and her poems have been published in numerous anthologies. She also has a collection, Upside-Down Sky and Other Poems Old and New. In 2024 she set up a small press, Paper Sandwich Publications inviting poets writing for children to submit. Mary has been shortlisted for the Caterpillar Poetry Prize, the York Mix Poems for Children Competition, and the Mslexia Children’s Novel Competition.
