Non-fiction, guidebooks,  fictional satire and the Sense Able Story series | Founder, Write Publish Books.

I am an author and the founder of Write Publish Books, an independent imprint dedicated to ethical, informed self-publishing. Alongside writing non-fiction guides and fiction, I mentor aspiring authors and support them in navigating the practical realities of bringing a book into the world.

I believe everyone has a story worth shaping into print. Whether it is fiction, memoir, children’s writing, satire or specialist non-fiction, the process of turning ideas into a finished book should be empowering rather than confusing. My work focuses on demystifying that process.

Through Write Publish Books, I provide structured support for independent authors, including guidance on manuscript development, publishing pathways and the practical infrastructure behind professional book production. A key part of this is independent ISBN allocation under a recognised imprint, full Nielsen BookData metadata submission, and extended trade distribution infrastructure, ensuring authors retain control of their work while giving their books genuine discoverability beyond a single retail platform.

My guidebook, The DIY Book Publishing Guide, reflects this ethos: practical, clear and grounded in real publishing experience. It equips writers not only to complete a manuscript but to understand the mechanics of publishing responsibly and sustainably.

Based on the Isle of Wight, I run small writing groups and workshops and am available for mentoring, ghostwriting, public speaking and educational visits. I aim to help people write a book, while helping them understand how publishing works — and to do it ethically and respectfully.
