Maren Baudet-Lackner translates from the French. She has published over a dozen titles with major imprints in the United Kingdom and United States and is the recipient of a 2023 PEN Presents Award and a 2024 PEN Translates Award. Her work was also recognized by Albertine Translation grants in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Her most recent translations include The Aquatics by Cameroonian novelist Osvalde Lewat (Coffee House Press, 2025; Cassava Republic 2026), The Bureau of Unknown Fates by Gaëlle Nohant (Bonnier Books UK, 2026) and Remember the Bees by Franco-Moroccan author Zineb Mekouar (Milkweed Editions, 2026).
