Madeleine is a poet, author and magazine editor and was born in Germany, with roots in Canada and the UK. Her debut novel ‘Mother Of Floods’ was published by Crowsnest Books in 2020. The Crossing Places poetry series will be published by Sea Crow Press and includes: ‘The Horse And the Girl,’ ‘Maiden Mother Crone’ and ‘The Maiden Mother Crone Anthology’, out February 2025, April 2025 and March 2026 respectively. 

A co-creation pioneer, Madeleine is also a magazine publisher and editor, and is the founder/editor of Write On! Magazine, Write On! Audio Podcast and Write On! Extra e-zine, published by Pen to Print, and launched in 2019.  She has led workshops and guest lectured at a number of universities in the UK and abroad. Madeleine is now working on a second novel.
