Lucy Sullivan is a Writer & Artist from London (UK) who creates stories around social concerns combined with folklore and expressive mark making. Best known for her acclaimed debut graphic novel BARKING, based on the her own experience of a mental health crisis. The new edition launched in ’24 with Avery Hill Publishing.
Lucy has created a variety of commissions for Hey Amateur!, Razorblades, Yoshin10, Department Of Truth and Black Hammer including writing & drawing ‘Betwixt Between’ for Jeff Lemire. Recently she created all the on screen artwork for Benedict Cumberbatch’s character DAD in The Thing With Feathers [2025] based on the acclaimed novella by Max Porter.
Currently Lucy is developing her next graphic novel Mothers Ruin, from her folk-horror series SHELTER, due for publication in 2027 with Avery Hill.
