Non-fiction writer, proofreader and editor with a degree in journalism and an MA in the cultural study of cosmology & divination.

Author of several non-fiction books, mostly in the MBS category, including the Oracle of the Elements (geomancy) and The Cosmology of Astrology (currently looking for an agent/new publisher to help me rehome this title).

I’ve also edited The New Astrology of Towns & Cities, published in collaboration with the Urania Trust (2014).

In addition to co-writing and editing A Life with Animals (biography), I also spent a year doing archive and background research for Under the Rainbow. The Life & Times of EW Cole, an historical biography written by Richard Broinowski (2020). This was a natural extension of my previous life as a content, stock footage and archive researcher for various news, film and TV outlets, both in London and South Africa.

Since 2013, I have been a freelance proofreader for a London-based educational publisher; and from 2021, have been copyediting and proofing for fiction and NF independent authors via the Reedsy platform.

I have also done some occasional YA fiction proofreading for Farrago, an imprint of Duckworth (2021).

My background is in journalism and factchecking/research, so I tend to stick to non-fiction. In addition to copywriting in the health & technical sectors, I also blog and occasionally make contributions to selected media outlets on a range of current affairs and finance topics.
